More information:

Can I make a special order or commission a piece?

You may get in touch with any special requests and I will do my best to meet your needs.

What materials do you use and are they safe?

I work with clay, porcelain and glazes sourced in Europe. All are safe and the final products are non-toxic. All of my pots are food safe, unless otherwise noted. Some of the recycled pieces may not be food safe and are for decorative purposes only. If this is the case, it will be indicated in the description of the piece. I am researching ways of decorating my ceramics with clay slip and natural pigments to reduce my use of elements and metals. I sometimes use found objects / recycled metal on my work.

Do you ship anywhere in the world?

Yes. Shipping within Europe is free. I can ship to other countries, but I will need to charge some shipping costs which will vary depending on where you are.  Please get in touch for a quotation. I understand that shipping has an impact on the planet and so I try my best to minimise it. See below.

How do you try to reduce environmental impact?

As in my daily life, I try hard to be careful how I run my business and in the making of my ceramic pieces. I am always trying to reduce my negative impact on the environment and in the world. Where possible for the studio, I make only a small number of pieces and try not to keep too much stock. I recycle and reuse materials and collect rain water. I mostly sell locally but if I do ship, my shipping packaging is, currently, reused/recycled and, if that runs out, I will be using plastic free, recycled packaging.  If you would like more detailed information about my clay and raw materials, please get in touch directly.
